A Very Human DramaMarch 27 - April 13, 2014
Written by Jeff Pitcher
Directed by David Nairn
A Newfoundland story that resonates with honesty and humour as Elvis, from the south coast of Newfoundland, contemplates the unimaginable - blowing up the Churchill Hydro Dam in Labrador unless the contract between Newfoundland and Quebec is renegotiated. Meanwhile, his wife Mavis, sits at home ashamed and embarrassed, ready to strangle her husband. Her only soothing relief is a nice "cup a' tea".
