ORANGEVIILLE, ON. – After four years with Theatre Orangeville General Manager Bernadette Hardaker will be stepping down effective May 1, 2020.
The decision did not come easily for Bernadette, who views the theatre as a second home. After helping to bring the company to a historic 25th season – she felt the timing seemed right for the company to start its next chapter.
“It’s been a privilege to be the General Manager for this great organization because you get to engage with such a vast array of truly remarkable people. I have treasured this time and have been blessed with the most wonderful community,” said Hardaker
Over the years Bernadette has worked closely alongside Artistic Director David Nairn.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work alongside Bernadette,” said Nairn. “Together we were able to create a welcoming environment for everyone including artists, patrons and team members. The TOV family will truly miss her leadership and forward thinking.”
In the upcoming month a search committee will be accepting applications for Hardaker’s successor to artisticdirector@theatreorangeville.ca. Deadline to apply is Dec. 2, 2019.
